GigaBack

GigaBack Support

GigaBack finds duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, blurry shots, and large videos wasting space on your iPhone. Have a question, a bug, or an idea? Send a message below and it reaches us directly.

Quick answers

Is it safe to delete what GigaBack finds? Yes. You review and confirm every deletion through the standard iOS Photos prompt, and deleted items stay in your Recently Deleted album for about 30 days, where you can restore them.

Do my photos get uploaded anywhere? No. Scanning and matching run entirely on your iPhone. GigaBack has no accounts, no servers, and collects no data.

Why is the scan downloading from iCloud? If your library uses iCloud Photos with optimized storage, iOS may fetch originals from your iCloud to compare them precisely. This uses your own Apple connection; nothing goes to us.

What is free and what is Pro? Scanning, reviewing every result, deleting duplicates group by group, and swiping through screenshots are free. GigaBack Pro unlocks one-tap Smart Clean and bulk cleanup for similar, blurry, and large video items, as a weekly or annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription? Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose GigaBack Pro, and tap Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period.

How do I restore a purchase on a new phone? Open the upgrade screen in GigaBack and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.
