Ferry moves photos and videos between your iPhone and another phone over your own Wi-Fi. Have a question, a bug, or an idea? Send a message below and it reaches us directly.
The phones cannot connect or the QR will not load. Make sure both phones are on the same Wi-Fi, and that the receiver is started. Some public, office, or guest networks block device-to-device traffic; a home network or a personal hotspot works best.
Where do received photos go? Straight into your Photos library on iPhone (or the gallery on Android). Each saved item has a View button to open it.
My photo lost its location when sending from Android. Use the free Ferry app for Android rather than a browser. Android's photo picker strips GPS from files handed to a browser; the native app reads the true original so location and the real filename are kept.
Does anything go to the cloud? No. Photos and videos move directly between your devices over local Wi-Fi. Ferry has no accounts and no servers.
What is Ferry Pro? Ferry is free for your first 50 transfers. Ferry Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited sending and receiving.
